Last updated: 25 October 2026. This policy describes the current local preview of The Everyday Muse. Before a public launch, the publisher must update this page with its identity, contact details and the services actually in use.

Who operates this website

The Everyday Muse is the publishing name used by this website. Publisher contact information is managed on the Contact page. This preview has not opened a public contact channel.

Information collected by the website

Reading articles and using the style tools does not require a visitor account. Tool answers are processed in your browser and are not submitted to a publisher database. Quiz and calculator answers are temporary. The capsule wardrobe checklist is saved in this browser’s local storage only when you choose “Save on this device.” A saved checklist restores on the same browser and device. Use “Clear checklist & saved copy” to remove it, or clear this website’s data in your browser settings. Later checklist edits need to be saved again.

The web server may record technical request information such as IP addresses, request times, requested pages and browser details for normal operation and troubleshooting. In this local preview, the server runs on the site owner’s computer. Public hosting arrangements, retention periods and service providers must be documented before launch.

WordPress uses necessary cookies for administrators who sign in, including authentication and preference cookies. If comments, subscriptions, analytics or other visitor services are enabled later, this policy must be updated to describe their data use and retention before those features are offered. Comments and public registrations are not enabled in this preview.

Instagram and other external content

Muse Instagram blocks initially show a local preview and a source link. Instagram content and its script load when you choose “Load Instagram post.” That connects your browser to Meta/Instagram, which may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details, and may use cookies or connect activity with an existing account under its own policies.

You can read the surrounding article without loading an embed. Opening an Instagram source link takes you to a separate service. The publisher does not control the privacy practices, availability or content of external websites. Read Instagram’s privacy information for details.

Advertising and analytics

This preview does not run Google AdSense or analytics scripts. If advertising or analytics is introduced, this page must identify the actual providers, purposes, applicable controls and consent choices before collection begins.

Where Google advertising is used, relevant disclosures must explain third-party advertising cookies, personalization and how visitors can manage their choices. The publisher must configure the consent platform appropriate to its audience and Google’s requirements. The Instagram load control is not a Google-certified advertising consent platform.

Messages and your choices

If you contact the publisher after the contact channel opens, your message and supplied details may be used to respond and handle the enquiry. Do not include sensitive data that is unnecessary to your request. Any email provider and message-retention arrangements must be reflected in the public policy.

You can choose not to load social embeds and can manage cookies through your browser. Depending on where you live and what data the publisher processes, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion. Use the published contact channel for a specific request.

Policy changes

This page should be updated when the site’s data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision of this starting policy.
